Fisher Barns Ramp System

So you’re looking to put your motorcycle, lawn mower, and golf cart in your new storage building?

How?

A ramp. Of course. A secure, strong, ramp that can be customized to the length you need. That’s a solution we offer.

There are 3 main components to our ramp system:
1. The Door Sill
2. The Ramp Frame
3. The Pressure Treated Ramp Boards

The Door Sill
The door sill is extruded from aluminum and performs a dual purpose. First, it protects the edge of your shed flooring from damage when moving items in and out of the building. Second, it provides channels for secure attachment of the ramp sections.

There are 2 channels on the door sill. The upper one allows the ramp to be flush with the floor of your building for easy access into the building. The lower channel allows the shed doors to be closed while the ramps are in place. This way, you don’t need to remove the ramps every time you secure your building. At the same time, if you decide to move them, the smaller sections make removing and storing the ramps easier and faster.

The Ramp Frames
The ramp frames rest in the door sill channels and hold the pressure treated ramp boards. These frames are manufactured out of extruded aluminum, so they will never rust out. The ramp frames are 72″ long to allow for easy entry without scraping on the door sill.

Pressure Treated Ramp Boards
In the center of the ramp are the pressure treated ramp boards. These boards are installed in short sections to prevent warping and increase traction, allowing you to drive your mower, ATV, or golf cart into your Fisher Barn in full confidence. And since the ramp boards are pressure treated to resist deterioration, you have the assurance that they will last for many years.

Summary
If you want an easy way to get in and out of your building with your valuable tools and toys, the Fisher Barns ramp is a great solution and can be customized to meet your needs. With a ramp system that protects the edge of your shed floor, attaches securely to your building (no more fears of the ramp falling down when you’re halfway in the building), and is designed to last for many years, you’ll be able to focus on the important things – like taking that ATV for an after-work joy ride.
